Underpinning prices in Brisbane
This site doesn't set or quote prices. Published figures for underpinning in Australia run from a few thousand dollars to six figures, depending on the method and on who is selling it, so a number means little until someone has looked at the house.

Foundation Solutions, a company that installs screw piles and lists Brisbane among its regions, says on its cost page that most foundation repairs range from A$5,000 to A$35,000, and from A$40,000 to A$80,000 where major works are needed. Buildfix, a resin-injection company, says on an Australia-wide page that its approximate cost of underpinning is A$4,000 to A$16,000, and that most homeowners quoted for traditional concrete underpinning have seen figures of A$20,000 to A$100,000. Both pages were read on 21 September 2026. They describe different work from different sellers, and none of these figures is a Brisbane price or ours.
Before you agree to a price
Ask each provider for a QBCC licence number and class, since building work over A$3,300 is licensed. Then ask what cause the quote assumes: CSIRO says cracking from erosion or local shear usually keeps developing until the cause is remedied, so a price that repairs a symptom only may not be the whole cost.
Priced by service
Two figures on this page are thresholds, not prices: the licence rule starts above A$3,300, and Council requires building approval for filling or excavating more than one vertical metre for a building or structure.
